About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and evolve the architecture of the Insurance App across Android, iOS, and the Java BFF.
Conduct code reviews ensuring quality, security, and performance standards.
Guide high-impact technical decisions, balancing delivery speed and product sustainability.
Support incident analysis and resolution, or route issues to the responsible teams.
Serve as the team's technical reference, promoting engineering best practices and a culture of continuous improvement.
Assist the team in resolving complex problems and technical bottlenecks.
Actively participate in hands-on development on mobile and/or BFF fronts as needed.
Design and maintain robust integrations between the App and the Java BFF, following REST and/or GraphQL principles.
Ensure the App is responsive, accessible, and performant across different devices and OS versions.
Evolve the automated testing strategy (unit, integration, and E2E) across all three stack areas (Android, iOS, BFF).
Oversee the CI/CD pipeline and ensure secure, frequent deployments.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Android (Kotlin) — Experience with native mobile development.
iOS (Swift / SwiftUI) — Experience with native mobile development.
Experience with backend development in Java (Spring Boot or similar).
Experience as a Tech Lead or technical reference in product teams.
Strong knowledge of modern mobile architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture, MVI).
Experience with REST API patterns, BFF design, and client-server contracts.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Fastlane, or similar).
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
