About the role
- Lead the technical team in the development of applications.
- Design scalable software architectures using microservices principles and agile development practices.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure application availability and scalability on AWS Cloud.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
- Implement and maintain best practices for security, performance and scalability.
- Cloud-native architecture: Design solutions using the AWS ecosystem, focusing on high availability and cost optimization.
- Frontend governance: Define standards for React architecture, ensuring monetization, performance (Core Web Vitals) and accessibility;
- Technical mentoring: Conduct critical code reviews for both infrastructure (IaC) and complex interfaces, raising the team's technical bar;
- Systems integration: Orchestrate frontend consumption of APIs and microservices, ensuring security (OAuth2/OpenID) and smooth interactions.
- Automation culture: Lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines that cover everything from SPA deployments to cloud resource provisioning.
- Implement and maintain best practices for security, performance and scalability.
Requirements
- Deep experience with React.js, Hooks, Context API or state management libraries (Redux/Zustand), and Next.js.
- AWS expertise: Solid knowledge of core services: Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, EC2, API Gateway and CloudFront.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform, AWS CDK or Serverless Framework.
- Backend development: Proficiency in Java to support microservices.
- Engineering practices: TDD, Clean Architecture and familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, New Relic).
