About the role
- Responsible for providing, maintaining, and evolving the company’s entire data engineering ecosystem.
- As a Platform Engineer experienced with Databricks and Microsoft Azure, you will be a key contributor in delivering robust, innovative technical solutions for large-scale data environments.
- You will build, optimize, and support complex environments, integrating technologies such as Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Azure DevOps, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Streaming, and Lakehouse architecture.
- With strong technical expertise and strategic vision, you will support the data engineering team, ensuring high performance, scalability, and data governance.
Requirements
- Solid experience in data engineering and analytical platforms, including design, development, testing, and maintenance of pipelines.
- More than 2 years working in Microsoft Azure and Databricks environments — mandatory requirement.
- Knowledge of SQL, ETL/Data Warehousing tools, and relational and NoSQL databases.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in complex cloud and on-premises environments.
- Proven hands-on experience with observability tools for developing dashboards, alerts, and automations to meet operational KPIs (SLA, SLO).
- Desired: knowledge of networking.
- Desired: experience with Linux and scripting.
- Desired: experience with ML, AI, and Streaming.
