About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for selected sourcing categories related to assembly components
Manage own area independently combining operational purchasing, supplier relationship development and supporting pricing decisions
Ensure cost-effective sourcing, delivery reliability and strong supplier relationships within global partner network
Work closely with internal stakeholders and international partners
Participate in supplier selections, negotiations and supplier relationship development
Monitor supplier performance
Manage inventory levels in a project-driven environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or relevant engineering discipline
At least three years of experience in sourcing or supply chain management within manufacturing
Understanding of production, production technologies and materials
Knowledge of cost structures and cost analysis
Confident use of Excel
Experience with ERP systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365
Fluent in both Finnish and English
