About the role

  • Take end-to-end responsibility for the Trial Balance across several entities.
  • Perform the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes for assigned entities, ensuring all deadlines are met with absolute precision.
  • Conduct and oversee detailed monthly reconciliations of all general ledger accounts, proactively resolving issues and investigating long-standing items.
  • Work directly with the Accounts Payable, Tax & Treasury and Payroll functions to ensure the upstream data impacting your entities is accurate and coded correctly at the source.
  • Act as the dedicated finance partner to Country leads, providing the data and context required to help them manage their budgets and operations effectively.
  • Use your knowledge of daily transactions to provide high-level analytical reviews, identifying trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, managing the entire audit process and the Prepared by Client (PBC) list.
  • Actively coach junior team members, providing technical guidance and helping them develop their accounting expertise.
  • Support the wider Finance team in leveling up operations by sharing best practices and fostering a culture of high performance and accuracy.
  • Drive the adoption of new policies and procedures across the team to ensure consistent application of accounting standards.
  • Proactively identify manual bottlenecks in the day-to-day workflow and lead the design and implementation of automated or streamlined accounting procedures to increase efficiency.
  • Spearhead finance-specific and cross-functional projects.
  • Support the design and refinement of internal control frameworks to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with local GAAP/IFRS and internal global policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/ACCA or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting, ideally in a multi-entity, international environment.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and experience with full Trial Balance ownership.
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proactive, structured, and dependable approach to work.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Business Central is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
