About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop subject matter expertise on the 340B program and issues related to hospital pricing
Keep current on trends, research studies and third-party policy analyses related to 340B and hospital finances
Work closely with colleagues in other departments to support education and advocacy initiatives on 340B
Develop slides, talking points and other materials across a range of issues related to 340B
Oversee and coordinate research projects being managed by outside consultants
Support work to analyze regulations and draft comment letters
Provide technical expertise and develop materials to support State advocacy efforts
Assist with member workgroup calls and coordinate the development of materials related to those calls

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required
4+ years of experience in legislative or regulatory policy and/or advocacy
Strong writing that communicates clearly and persuasively on advocacy issues
Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
Ability to review analytic reports and interpret data and bring data analysis to bear on policy issues
Ability to synthesize, distill and clearly communicate complex ideas to a non-technical audience
Expertise in Microsoft Office products such as Excel and PowerPoint
