About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work directly with the CEO on whatever matters most
  • Shape strategy for new product launches, handle operations, or coordinate PR outreach
  • Scale the recruitment process, co-own executive recruiting, organize recruitment events, develop employer brand, and join candidate interviews
  • Implement AI agents in company operations
  • Write external and internal communications explaining complex ideas simply
  • Investigate potential new markets and formulate what 'Plumerai for X' would look like
  • Support investor relations and fundraising processes, including preparing board packs, data rooms, and investor materials
  • Find answers to legal or regulatory questions affecting the business
  • Stay close to the product roadmap and ensure decisions are grounded in business strategy
  • Drive two to four high-priority strategic initiatives that the CEO cannot personally execute
  • Temporarily lead functions until a specialist is hired

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Get things done with high energy
  • Willingness to handle any task and take initiative without waiting for permission
  • Ability to prioritize clearly and help others stay focused
  • Generalist comfortable operating in ambiguity and creating structure
  • Analytical mindset and excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable with technology, including AI tools, and able to learn new tools quickly
  • Fluent in English
  • Typically around 5–8 years of experience in a high-performance environment such as consulting, investment banking, VC, or a fast-scaling startup
  • Currently based in, or willing to relocate to, the Amsterdam region
  • Expected to work from the central Amsterdam office on most working days
