About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop interactive romance stories that capture the audience's attention and keep them engaged throughout the entire experience.
Write a synopsis of the story based on the given story brief (concept).
Write and revise scripts based on feedback from the team and audience testing.
Work within the established style guidelines to ensure consistency across all interactive stories.
Collaborate with the team to ensure that the story is aligned with the overall project vision and goals.
Stay current on trends and best practices in interactive story writing, and apply them to our projects.
Meet project deadlines.
Managing multiple projects simultaneously would be a plus.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Fluent or Native English.
Proven experience as a writer, with a focus on interactive stories and/or romance.
Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling characters, settings, and relationship dynamics.
Knowledge of popular romantic tropes and the ability to execute them are a must.
Ability to develop inclusive and diverse characters and relationships in interactive story scripts.
Ability to use given story information and expand it to create an immersive game experience.
Ability to write according to a given formatting example and submit stories in Google Sheets (preferably) or Excel.
Strong understanding of story structure, pacing, dialogue, and story branching.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team of game designers.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to give and receive feedback effectively.
Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
It would be great if a candidate Has experience with writing interactive stories.
Has experience with writing romance.
