Architect and build core payments infrastructure across online, in-person, and recurring billing flows
Own the reliability of money movement: idempotency, webhook processing, failure recovery, and reconciliation
Drive PCI DSS scope hygiene and keep financial systems auditable and observable
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ship features clubs depend on

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years building backend systems in production environments with focus on payments or financial systems
Hands-on production experience with Adyen
3+ years of demonstrable Ruby on Rails experience in production environments
Familiarity with Checkout, Terminal API, tokenization, webhooks, or Adyen for Platforms
Proven ability to operate high-availability services: monitoring, alerting, incident response, and postmortems
Strong written and spoken English
