About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review and process thousands of addresses to identify corresponding utility providers.
- Accurately enter utility provider information into a designated database.
- Verify the accuracy of data entered and correct any discrepancies.
- Conduct online research to find and confirm utility provider information when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data consistency and integrity.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Generate and update reports as required.
- Willingness to make phone calls to providers to ensure accuracy for provider.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in data entry, research, or a related field preferred.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry tasks.
- Data Entry Proficiency: Fast and accurate typing skills, with experience in using data entry software or systems.
- Research Skills: Ability to conduct online research to find accurate information about utility providers.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with database management systems.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to verify and validate data.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and handle a high volume of work efficiently.
- Adaptability: Ability to work independently and adapt to new processes and tools quickly.
- Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with utility services and providers is a plus.
- Experience with GIS: Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or mapping tools.
- Previous Work in Utilities: Experience working with utility companies or in a related industry.
