About the role
- Lead international customer projects within agreed time, cost and quality constraints
- Manage bespoke customer projects on land, in the air, under and on the water that require creative solutions and offer exciting challenges
- Oversee the entire project environment, including internal and external communication as well as decision and contract management
- Take responsibility for the technical and organizational coordination of the project team, including evaluation and coordination of additional system partners and suppliers worldwide
- Integrate products and services from companies within the PLATH Group into various platforms (e.g. vehicles and vehicle bodies) together with coordinating partners and suppliers
- Develop tailored system concepts together with the customer
- Advise, support and assist our customers and the sales team
- Manage internal and external reporting to all stakeholders
- Perform post-calculation, project analysis and handover of customer-accepted systems to our After Sales Service
- Identify follow-up topics within projects to drive improvements in internal processes
Requirements
- University degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a related field
- Several years of experience in the (technical) implementation of complex, technically sophisticated system projects in an international environment, ideally in the defense sector, using state-of-the-art project management processes and methods
- Professional and practical experience in a demanding, internationally-oriented integration environment with high process and quality requirements (e.g. RF, automotive), including management of subcontractors
- Very good German and English language skills; additional language skills are an advantage
- Willingness to travel worldwide (up to 25%)
- Structured and proactive working style, high personal responsibility, confident presence and excellent communication skills
- Ideally, internationally recognized certification such as IPMA or PMI
