About the role
- Responsible for planning, implementing and operating secure network architectures in highly sensitive environments
- Ensure that all communication and data transmission channels meet stringent security requirements
- Create and develop network security concepts, taking IT-Grundschutz into account
- Design and implement Zero Trust architectures and firewalls
- Advise customers and sales on security concepts
- Analyze, assess and harmonize the requirements of client organizations
- Identify and evaluate risks related to IT security
- Work closely with project teams to define security requirements
Requirements
- Completed degree in IT security, (business) computer science or a comparable qualification; additional certifications such as CISSP, ISC2, CISM, GIAC, AWS/GCP, CKA/CKS are a plus
- Demonstrable experience in creating and implementing IT security concepts using standards such as IT-Grundschutz (DE) or NS-ISO/IEC 27005 (international)
- Deep understanding of security frameworks such as BSI, NATO, NIST, MITRE
- Knowledge of information security for the German Armed Forces (e.g., regulation A-960/1, DeuMilSAA, IT-SichhVorgKuB)
- Solid understanding of risk analysis, vulnerability management and risk management in information security
- Strong communication and presentation skills to explain complex security concepts clearly
- Experience with relevant tools (e.g., SAVe) and technologies in the IT security domain
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
