About the role

  • Development of software components for demodulation and decoding of radio signals from a wide range of application areas
  • Taking responsibility for the design, development, documentation and testing of the corresponding software components
  • Development of numerical algorithms for digital signal processing with a focus on reliability, robustness, reproducibility and performance
  • Bit-level analysis of new and unknown transmission protocols from channel decoding up to the application layer
  • Working with modern technologies in C++ and Python (e.g., pybind11, etc.)
  • Contributing in an agile team with close technical collaboration with colleagues.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or equivalent knowledge
  • Enthusiasm for digital signal processing and topics related to demodulation and decoding of radio signals
  • Strong experience in software development with C++ and Python
  • Knowledge of build tools and continuous integration (CMake, Jenkins, Git, etc.)
  • Open communication style and a focus on problem-solving
  • Excellent German and English language skills.
