About the role
- Development of software components for demodulation and decoding of radio signals from a wide range of application areas
- Taking responsibility for the design, development, documentation and testing of the corresponding software components
- Development of numerical algorithms for digital signal processing with a focus on reliability, robustness, reproducibility and performance
- Bit-level analysis of new and unknown transmission protocols from channel decoding up to the application layer
- Working with modern technologies in C++ and Python (e.g., pybind11, etc.)
- Contributing in an agile team with close technical collaboration with colleagues.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or equivalent knowledge
- Enthusiasm for digital signal processing and topics related to demodulation and decoding of radio signals
- Strong experience in software development with C++ and Python
- Knowledge of build tools and continuous integration (CMake, Jenkins, Git, etc.)
- Open communication style and a focus on problem-solving
- Excellent German and English language skills.
