About the role
- Development of software components for demodulation and decoding of radio signals across a wide range of application domains
- Taking responsibility for the design, development, documentation, and testing of the corresponding software components
- Development of numerical algorithms for digital signal processing with a focus on reliability, robustness, reproducibility, and performance
- Bit-level analysis of new and unknown transmission protocols from channel decoding up to the application layer
- Working with modern technologies in C++ and Python (e.g., pybind11, etc.)
- Collaborating in a team using agile methodologies with close technical exchange with colleagues
Requirements
- Degree in communications engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or equivalent qualifications
- Enthusiasm for digital signal processing and topics related to demodulation and decoding of radio signals
- Strong experience in software development with C++ and Python
- Knowledge of build tools and continuous integration (CMake, Jenkins, Git, etc.)
- Open communication style with a focus on problem solving
- Very good German and English language skills
