About the role
- Responsibility for the strategic management and further development of sales activities in the context of NATO and the European Union
- Analysis, maintenance and expansion of relationships with NATO and EU institutions, relevant agencies and programme offices
- Identification and assessment of procurement and funding opportunities, including joint European programmes and European Defence Fund (EDF) tenders
- Strategic positioning of the company in multinational cooperation projects and support in the development of bid strategies
- Monitoring political, technological and industrial-policy developments in the Euro‑Atlantic region
- Representational duties at trade fairs and conferences
Requirements
- Experience in international sales, ideally in the technical defence or security sector with a focus on NATO or EU structures
- Knowledge of European security and defence policy, industrial cooperation models and relevant funding instruments
- Degree in a technical discipline (e.g. industrial engineering, business informatics, electrical engineering) or business administration, with an interest in the other field
- Experience in radio communications and intelligence/surveillance technology is an advantage but not required
- Strong communication and networking skills, and high intercultural competence
- Entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, and a strongly goal- and result-oriented work style
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
- High willingness to travel internationally
