About the role
- Develop software components for demodulation and decoding of radio signals from a wide range of application areas
- Take responsibility for the design, development, documentation, and testing of the relevant software components
- Develop numerical algorithms for digital signal processing with a focus on reliability, robustness, reproducibility, and performance
- Perform bit-level analysis of new and unknown transmission protocols, from channel decoding up to the application layer
- Work with modern technologies in C++ and Python (e.g., pybind11)
- Collaborate in an agile team with close technical exchange among colleagues
Requirements
- Degree in communications engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or equivalent qualifications
- Strong interest in digital signal processing and topics related to demodulation and decoding of radio signals
- Solid experience in software development with C++ and Python
- Familiarity with build tools and continuous integration (CMake, Jenkins, Git, etc.)
- Open communication style and a strong problem-solving focus
- Very good German and English language skills
