About the role

  • Lead audits of annual and consolidated financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS
  • Responsible for the team’s deliverables and the preparation of working papers
  • Support special audits and advisory projects with an operational/business focus
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide solution-oriented advice to clients
  • Advise on accounting-related, tax and business-management issues

Requirements

  • University degree in business administration, economics, finance or a related field
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in external audit
  • Strong knowledge of national and international accounting standards
  • Aspiring to qualify as a tax advisor (Steuerberater) or certified public auditor (Wirtschaftsprüfer)
  • Proficient MS Office skills
  • Good command of English
  • Independent and self-reliant working style
  • Strong work ethic, team orientation, service mindset and confident presence
