3D Artist

• Work in close collaboration with the Production Staff to create top-notch animations that bring creatures, characters, objects and vehicles to life according to the project vision outlined by the Lead and/or Supervisor
• Provide animated sequences that align with the Client’s vision and the project brief
• Animate in various styles as required by assigned projects (creatures, realistic humans, motion capture, vehicles, complex characters, objects, cameras)
• Perform Mocap cleanup and 3D rotomation for FX when required
• Use Maya for animation on visual effects-intensive projects
• Follow direction from the Lead, Supervisor, Animation and CG Supervisor and perform other miscellaneous duties as required
• Collaborate with Production Staff and cross-functional teams to match scene layout to plates and integrate animation into the VFX pipeline
• Meet tight deadlines and be available to work overtime/weekends when projects require it
