About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and manage complex, multi-phase or multi-stakeholder project schedules across a portfolio
  • Manage project and portfolio budgets, invoicing, forecasts, margins, change requests, SOWs and contracts
  • Lead project, stakeholder, client and third-party communications, including sensitive conversations and escalations
  • Identify, assess, mitigate and report project and programme risks
  • Ensure delivery complies with ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 requirements
  • Develop project and programme plans for complex and high-value engagements
  • Coordinate discovery, gap analysis, production, testing, deployment and client acceptance testing
  • Resolve cross-project resourcing conflicts and manage portfolio priorities
  • Mentor and coach Project Managers and act as an escalation point for complex delivery issues
  • Use AI to improve delivery quality and efficiency
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and coordinate formal handover to Support, Account Management and Operations teams
  • Support improvements to project delivery processes and share best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years' experience in an agency or service-provider project delivery role
  • Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder or high-value projects
  • Experience with digital agency projects lasting 4+ months and involving multiple iterations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent complex projects through full lifecycle delivery
  • Well-versed in content management systems and CRM
  • Strong understanding of data migration and business readiness
  • Knowledge or interest in membership, payments, accounting, communities and events
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to produce and maintain complex project plans and related documentation
  • Ability to assess change impacts and update planning data across a portfolio
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or equivalent Microsoft products
  • Experience using AI tools and automation to improve project management efficiency
  • Experience managing project and programme risk and compliance considerations, including ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2
  • SOW and contract creation, negotiation and management experience
  • Experience mentoring, coaching or line-managing Project Managers
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability to manage challenging or politically sensitive client situations diplomatically
  • Strong leadership presence and ability to influence without direct authority
  • Strong commercial awareness, including budgets, time logging and invoicing
  • Preferred: project management software, CMS, CRM, AMS and customer success tooling
  • Preferred: Agile project management and ceremonies, including SCRUM and sprint planning
  • Preferred: PRINCE2 qualification or equivalent
  • Standard UK business hours, with occasional flexibility for US-based clients
