About the role
- Translate and adapt Pix assessments into Spanish, Italian, and German
- Pre-translate Pix test items into the three new languages and adapt content to the cultural context of the target countries
- Integrate translations into the Pix editor and produce the necessary variants
- Source relevant resources (tutorials, screenshots, web content) in the target languages and link them to the assessments
- Organize panels and manage reviews with local contributors
- Monitor the quality of Pix assessments across languages: usage statistics, user feedback, and panel testing
- Ensure content accessibility, including for people with disabilities
- Contribute to the maintenance of the existing Dutch and English versions
- Collaborate with the agile development team to design upcoming features
- Propose and test new assessment methods to enrich the user experience
Requirements
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) or equivalent: background in localization, translation, language teaching, etc.
- Committed, curious, quick-witted, proactive, with a strong interest in digital pedagogy
- Experience in translation and localization within an organizational context is a plus
- Strong digital literacy; essential to operate in a highly tool-driven environment
- Very good command of English
- Fluency in German would be a strong asset
- Proficiency in Spanish or Italian would also be an asset
- Versatile profile: quick learner, enthusiastic about testing new tools, comfortable in tool-rich environments (Illustrator, ChatGPT or other LLMs, Google Workspace, etc.)
- High level of digital skills (equivalent to level 5 on Pix)
- Excellent writing skills: analysis, synthesis, rigor, and impeccable spelling
- High degree of autonomy, adaptability and ease in varied environments
- Strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and a team-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with — or ability to quickly adopt — collaborative tools: Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Phrase, AI tools, etc.
