Financial Analyst

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain financial models, supporting business planning activities through scenario analysis and evaluation of strategic initiatives within insurance context.
- Monitor business performance, analyzing key financial and operational indicators to support ongoing planning adjustments.
- Contribute to business planning deliverables, including budgeting, forecasting cycles, forward‑looking projections and relevant regulatory components
- Prepare and present management insights, clearly communicating business performance and planning outcomes to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align planning assumptions, challenge inputs and ensure consistency across business planning processes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- BSc in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field
- MSc in a relevant discipline will be considered an asset
- 3–5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Business Planning Analyst or similar role, with experience in the Insurance industry
- Practical knowledge of IFRS17 and solid understanding of insurance business drivers
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proactive mindset with ability to contribute to strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and structured way
