About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead deal origination, structuring, and execution for senior living and long-term care clients
  • Build and sustain relationships with senior living providers, not-for-profit sponsors, and other issuers
  • Identify and cultivate new client relationships and strategic opportunities
  • Advise senior living leaders on capital needs, growth plans, affiliations, refinancing, campus repositioning, and long-term financial strategy
  • Lead bond issuances, refinancings, and other senior living capital markets transactions
  • Develop and oversee financial models, including debt service calculations and bond issue sizing
  • Advise clients on capital raising, debt structuring, and long-term financial planning
  • Lead and mentor Associates and Analysts
  • Monitor sector trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments
  • Collaborate with capital markets, credit, and public finance teams
  • Support recruiting and franchise-building initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, public finance, municipal advisory, senior living, long-term care, healthcare finance, consulting, development, or a related field
  • Familiarity with senior living and long-term care operating models, capital needs, debt structures, and nonprofit and healthcare provider financing considerations
  • Experience with tax-exempt bonds, taxable debt, bank financing, private placements, or municipal finance preferred but not required for candidates with relevant industry experience
  • Proven track record of client relationship management and successful transaction execution
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Series 52, 63, and 7 licenses required, or willingness to obtain
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and developing junior team members
  • MBA a plus
