About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide legal advice on corporate, securities, and M&A matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate engagement letters, non-disclosure agreements, and transaction documents
- Participate in firm committees such as commitment and M&A committees
- Monitor relevant regulatory and legislative changes
- Work with internal clients on special projects as requested
- Manage outside counsel and legal expenses
- Assist with third-party matters and ancillary litigation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Self-motivated, detail-oriented problem-solver
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills
- Relevant experience in securities and M&A transactions
- Ability to work well both in a team and independently
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Licensed in New York or Minnesota (as applicable)
- Large law firm or investment bank experience is preferred
- 2-4 years of experience generally preferred
