About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute a cohesive Search strategy and roadmap with Executive, Product, Engineering, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Build innovative Search features addressing user intent, helping users find inspiration, browse products, and find items to buy
- Investigate and hypothesize opportunities to improve the quality of Pinterest’s search experience
- Partner with engineering, data science, design, research, marketing, legal, strategy, and product management to define, measure, and drive execution
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong product sense and ability to collaborate, gain stakeholder buy-in, and set a long-term vision
- Demonstrated success in product management or related experience at fast-growing companies, particularly with AI/ML-based products
- Proven ability to lead in ambiguous environments and align functions, teams, and organizations to deliver on time
- Strong analytical skills using data analysis and qualitative user feedback to define strategy and make decisions
- Previous search experience is a plus but not required
- Technical strength and ability to partner with Engineering teams across technologies including Machine Learning
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science or equivalent experience
