Key responsibilities & impact

Own execution across a portfolio of infrastructure programs reshaping how and where Pinterest runs workloads at massive scale
Build and maintain a shared decisions log, risk registry, and delivery tracker
Coordinate compute platform, networking, security, and traffic engineering teams
Identify and resolve cross-team dependencies and conflicts
Shape technical decision tenets governing Pinterest’s infrastructure expansion
Own staffing and capacity planning, translating roadmaps into resourcing requests
Create executive updates and narratives that support leadership decisions
Influence the development of an ambiguous, high-impact infrastructure program

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience as a technical program manager or related experience
Track record of owning outcomes, not just tracking them
Experience leading large, cross-functional infrastructure programs with company-level impact
Strong technical judgment in cloud infrastructure, including cross-region/cross-provider networking, service identity, container orchestration, and deployment pipelines
Ability to resolve cross-organizational conflict and drive decisions across teams without direct authority
Excellent judgment balancing speed, reliability, security, and cost
Executive-caliber communication and ability to create crisp narratives from complex technical problems
Experience with large-scale infrastructure expansion, cloud platform migrations, or high-growth serving infrastructure strongly preferred
B.S. degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
