About the role

  • Build cutting edge technology using the latest advances in deep learning and machine learning to personalize Pinterest Partner while interfacing with various teams across Pinterest, Inc.
  • Experiment with and improve machine learning models for various product surfaces (Homefeed, Ads, Growth, Shopping, and Search).
  • Apply machine learning methods (e.g., user modeling, personalization, recommender systems, search, ranking, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, and graph representation learning).
  • Build data processing pipelines, and work with large scale machine learning systems, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop/Spark).
  • Research machine learning applications across different areas.
  • Use data driven methods and leverage the unique properties of Pinterest, Inc. data to improve candidates’ retrieval.
  • Work in a high-impact environment with quick experimentation and product launches.
  • Stay conversant with industry trends in recommendation systems.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline.
  • One (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.
