About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Acting as the main point of contact to manage multiple client relationships
- Assisting with the preparation and/or review of net asset value calculations on a timely basis
- Recording capital activity such as subscriptions and redemptions
- Recording cash activity and performing cash reconciliations
- Recording and reconciling investment trading activity
- Pricing portfolios in accordance with funds’ offering documents
- Preparing Investor Statements and contract notes
- Coordinating year-end audit and tax reporting requests with client and auditors
- Responding to ad-hoc reporting requests as required by clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prior fund accounting experience of at least 1-2 years is required
- Knowledge of open-ended funds and master/feeder structures desired
- Accounting designation desired, but not required
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or business administration is required
- Strong knowledge of accounting concepts in accordance with IFRS and ASPE. US GAAP a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to handle multiple demands, competing priorities, and constant change
