About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform detailed and analytical reviews of fund regulatory filings including N-CSR, N-PORT, N-CEN, 24F-2 and annual prospectus updates
- Review of fund expense administration activities
- Review of fund income and capital gain distributions
- Prepare and coordinate materials relating to fund board meetings, valuation committee meetings, and disclosure control meetings relating to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and certification procedures
- Coordinate the external audit and tax process on behalf of clients
- Maintain and nurture multiple client and business partner relationships
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1-4 years of financial services industry experience (Fund Accounting/Administration and/or Audit of mutual funds and registered products preferred)
- Minimum of 4-year college degree required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite; strong knowledge of Excel required
- Collaborative team member with strong interpersonal skills and a solution-oriented approach
- Strong organizational skills with attention to deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Desire to learn, research and think critically
