About the role

  • Test predominantly web-based applications, covering both frontend and backend layers
  • Design, maintain, and execute automated test suites, with the goal of maximizing automation coverage
  • Perform manual testing where automation is not efficient or feasible
  • Take ownership of test quality, ensuring releases meet functional and technical requirements
  • Proactively identify risks, gaps in test coverage, and opportunities to improve quality
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers
  • Work within a cross-team QA structure, cooperating with 3 other QA Engineers across different products

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with automated testing (tools and frameworks of your choice)
  • Solid understanding of manual testing principles and when to apply them effectively
  • Experience testing web applications, including frontend and backend aspects
  • A responsible and proactive mindset – you take ownership, not just assignments
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to shared QA standards across teams
  • Willingness to learn, improve, and evolve test practices with the team
  • Fluent communication skills in Czech and English (B2/C1)
