About the role
- Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients
- Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects
- Anticipate, respond to, and follow up on all existing client needs
- Actively prospect, round accounts, and solicit increases in existing client coverage
- Obtain best coverage/rate for insured, process quotes, and bind insurance coverage
- Monitor, review, and report on key metrics to ensure sales targets are achieved
- Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, provide expertise and answer questions.
Requirements
- Hold the insurance license required by your state
- Minimum of two years personal and commercial lines insurance account management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a source of reliable transportation
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations
- Proven track record of business to business sales success
- Strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Technology and Computer proficiency including agency management systems.
