About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the development and maintenance of online, mobile, and internal software platforms.
Software Developer Architects advanced solutions to business problems using foundational knowledge of software development and business priorities
Mentors and teaches other Software Engineers on best practices, languages, libraries, and tools
Creates and maintains documentation
Collaborates with other departments to develop solutions to business problems, including creating integrations between existing platforms
Manages user accounts in cloud-based software
Maintains, updates, and creates menu items as menu changes
Supports stores with point-of-sale issues
Answers guest questions regarding online ordering, gift cards, Piada Rewards, and other questions/concerns that are sent to the Technology-managed email addresses.
Provides timelines and roadmaps for development projects and technology initiatives
Maintain and manage relationships with software vendors

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CS, Computer Science and Engineering, CSE, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience/certification
Minimum 6 years of professional experience in full-stack development with preferences for: Ruby on Rails, JavaScript (Vue), HTML/CSS, Mobile apps - iOS (Swift) / Android (Kotlin), Linux server maintenance
Understanding of user-experience theories and concepts
Cloud server architecture, configuration, and deployment. Specific knowledge of AWS is a plus
Be aware of security best practices to ensure the appropriate protection of data and resources
Ability to take business requirements and translate them into technology solutions
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to create a structured project plan and prioritize tasks according to business requirements
High attention to detail
Night and weekend availability to assist stores with troubleshooting, menu launches, and software deployments.
