About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Point of contact for technical topics within the company and support for questions related to IT, systems and access.
- Contribute to the further development of our internal infrastructure, from Apple device management and cloud administration to security and automation processes.
- Assist with daily IT support and help handle and document requests related to hardware, software and access reliably.
- Support the setup, configuration and maintenance of our Macs and endpoints, working with tools such as Jamf Pro.
- Help manage Google Workspace, for example with users, permissions, groups and device settings.
- Assist with technical topics related to networks, VPN, DNS as well as Linux systems and server-side applications.
- Support centralized software distribution, updates and the further development of our IT security standards.
- Help create technical documentation, internal guides and clear tutorials for colleagues.
- Contribute your own ideas to further develop internal IT processes, automations and standards together with the team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in a degree program, ideally in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT Security or a related field.
- First practical experience in IT support, helpdesk, workplace management or system administration—e.g., through working-student positions, internships or personal projects.
- Good knowledge of macOS and a solid understanding of typical hardware and software issues.
- Basic knowledge of Linux.
- A sound technical understanding of networks and system interrelations, for example in DNS, VPN, IP addressing and user access.
- Interest in Google Workspace, endpoint management and IT security.
- Initial exposure to AI systems, automations or workflow tools is a plus.
- A structured, reliable and solution-oriented working style.
- Ability to adapt to different people, needs and technical skill levels and provide appropriate support.
- Ability to explain technical topics clearly and collaborate with colleagues in a service-oriented way.
- A calm and focused working manner, even when handling multiple requests at once.
- German language skills at least at B2 level and good English skills for working in an international environment.
