About the role

  • You are responsible for coordinating and handling internal and external complaints and for initiating and defining corrective and preventive actions, including root cause analyses and effectiveness verification.
  • Lead interdisciplinary teams on quality issues and quality projects, and support assembly/production to ensure product quality.
  • Analyze and resolve defects and quality deviations using the 8D or A3 methods.
  • Document all quality-relevant processes and results and create and maintain defect reports in the CAQ system.
  • Conduct and continuously develop the daily shopfloor quality-assurance meeting and provide coaching for the specialist departments.
  • Process and evaluate first article documentation (sampling).
  • Support and participate in customer meetings and audits, as well as internal and external system and process audits.
  • Prepare quality analyses and reports, monitor quality KPIs, and develop and track actions in case of deviations.
  • Collaborate with all relevant departments to achieve quality objectives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a technical vocational qualification with further training as a technician (m/f/d).
  • Several years of professional experience in quality assurance, ideally in a manufacturing environment (automotive, medical technology, etc.).
  • Solid knowledge of common quality methods (8D, A3, Ishikawa, 5-Why, APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, etc.).
  • Practical experience with testing and measuring equipment.
  • Experience using CAQ software (Babtec desirable) and MS Office applications.
  • Basic knowledge of auditing.
  • Completed Six Sigma Green Belt training is an advantage.
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
