About the role
- Preparation, execution and analysis of measurements using synchrotron radiation (e.g., precision reflectometry measurements) within international collaborative partnerships
- Operation, maintenance and servicing of complex measurement systems, in particular beamlines
- Continuous development of measurement techniques and data analysis procedures
Requirements
- Completed university degree (Diplom-FH/Bachelor's) in Physical Engineering or a comparable field
- Strong knowledge in at least one of the following areas: optics, optical metrology, spectroscopy, vacuum technology, automation, or programming
- Ability to work flexibly and manage time while operating complex experiments
- Independent and structured working style within a larger team
- Willingness to pursue further training and professional development
- Strong team and communication skills
- German language skills (C1 level) and English language skills (B2 level)
