About the role
- Support a government client as a Full Stack Developer for Phoenix Cyber
- Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript and React
- Configure, performance tune, monitor, and optimize distributed data storage stacks including data modeling and infrastructure planning/sizing
- Write and maintain automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Use Git, CI/CD, and other development tools to build and deploy applications
- Implement front-end features using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery
- Utilize JavaScript task automation tools (NPM, Webpack, Yarn, Grunt) and data serialization formats (JSON, XML)
- Work with state containers (Redux) and design/consume RESTful APIs
- Participate in the full web development lifecycle: design, development, deployment
- Collaborate with teams to integrate cloud, container, and monitoring solutions when required
Requirements
- Application Development experience with Javascript, React, or Kubernetes/EKS
- Experience configuring, performance tuning, and monitoring/optimizing of distributed data storage stacks to include data modeling and infrastructure planning, sizing, monitoring, and management
- Strong scripting skills in at least one language (e.g. Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and other development tools
- Proven work experience as a Front-end developer
- Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery
- Exposure to JavaScript task automation tools (NPM, Webpack, Yarn, Grunt)
- Familiarity with data serialization formats (JSON, XML)
- Familiarity with state containers for JavaScript apps (Redux)
- Understanding of RESTful API design for web services
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
- Understanding of layout aesthetics
- Must be a US citizen
- Active security clearance
- Nice to have: Experience with cloud infrastructure and networking in AWS and/or Azure
- Nice to have: Experience with the ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) stack, Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK), Kafka, Beats, and/or Splunk
- Nice to have: Elastic Certified Engineer (ECE) certification
- Nice to have: Automation Testing with Selenium, Cucumber, or Serenity
- Nice to have: Experience with container services (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Nice to have: Linux administration experience
- Nice to have: Experience with Red Hat OpenShift
