About the role
- Play an integral part of the engineering team, building and maintaining a new DeFi product - Bolt Liquidity
- Work on pioneering web3 DeFi solutions on top of one of many blockchains
- Collaborate with team members worldwide and communicate effectively through various tools
Requirements
- Proven track record designing, writing, and deploying multiple smart contracts in Rust, Move, and/or Solidity — ideally in DeFi projects
- Strong proficiency in Rust for both on-chain (Sui/Solana) and off-chain backend work — deep understanding of async, performance tuning, error handling, and API design
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining end-to-end Rust applications, from protocol logic to service layer
- Comfortable working in a Git-based workflow (branching, PRs, CI/CD hygiene)
- Self-starter able to operate independently while collaborating across functions
- Excellent written and verbal English skills — capable of documenting designs and discussing architecture clearly
