About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner directly with clients to understand business objectives and technical requirements
- Lead discovery sessions and translate complex client challenges into scalable, production-ready Data & AI architectures
- Serve as the primary technical advisor throughout client engagements
- Recommend architecture, tooling, implementation approaches, and technical trade-offs
- Develop architecture diagrams, design documentation, implementation plans, and technical standards
- Lead enterprise Data & AI solution delivery from architecture through production deployment
- Guide engineering teams through implementation, identify technical risks, and remove delivery blockers
- Leverage AI throughout the software delivery lifecycle to improve design, productivity, documentation, testing, troubleshooting, and client outcomes
- Guide clients on practical AI adoption
- Mentor engineers through architectural guidance, technical coaching, and design reviews
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and technical enablement
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Data Engineering, or related consulting roles
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise Data & AI solutions into production within cloud environments
- Demonstrated experience delivering with AI and leveraging modern AI technologies throughout the software delivery lifecycle
- Strong consulting experience leading technical discovery, solution architecture, and client-facing engagements
- Hands-on experience with many of Snowflake, Databricks, Google BigQuery, AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
- Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Java and/or Scala, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, dbt, Fivetran, Matillion, or similar technologies
- Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and monitoring
- Experience incorporating AI using enterprise platforms and frameworks such as Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, Snowflake Cortex AI, AWS Bedrock, LangChain, or LangGraph
- Comfortable operating in distributed, global teams and partnering across time zones
