Compliance & Quality Systems Specialist
PharmascienceQuality Specialist ensuring compliance with regulatory standards at Pharmascience in Candiac, QC. Participating in quality management systems and supporting internal audits while collaborating with suppliers.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure Pharmascience compliance at the Candiac site
- Participate in the management of quality systems such as CC (Change Control), CAPA, DEV (Deviations), audits, and risk management
- Coordinate and draft annual product reviews
- Review and approve change control actions and minor changes
- Investigate and address deviations related to the Quality/Compliance department
- Investigate and address product complaints related to items manufactured at the Candiac site
- Coordinate supplier-related complaints
- Participate in internal audits
- Prepare Quality metrics/indicators
- Support and participate in regulatory and customer audits
- Create and maintain specifications for non-printed materials
- Serve as the client contact for quality systems inquiries
- Participate in various projects aimed at supporting production activities and optimizing procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge of Canadian, US and European Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Good knowledge of risk management tools
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Strong problem identification and resolution skills
- Rigour and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with Trackwise and SAP (an asset)
- Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written
