About the role
- Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of UX research projects in collaboration with the client team
- Contribute to the development of the operating model for the UX research practice within the business unit
- Champion design thinking and human-centered design practices
- Analyze research data leveraging a variety of methods to reveal trends and insights that will inform product decisions
- Develop and conduct qualitative and quantitative research studies, including user interviews, surveys, usability tests, and ethnographic research
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to integrate research findings into the product development process
Requirements
- Degree or certification from a UX-related program (Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Technology or related discipline)
- 5+ years of professional experience conducting user experience and usability studies that have informed successful product designs
- Demonstrated experience leading qualitative research projects from discovery to delivery, translating the needs of designers, product managers, marketers and other research disciplines into effective, actionable project deliverables for external clients
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Analytical and problems solving skills with an ability to distill complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Experience using Human Centered Design and UXD processes to develop a research plan that guides application design
- Familiarity with NPS and Voice of the Customer research
- Proven to be fundamentally open-minded, compassionate, and curious.
