About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide exceptional customer service and create memorable, meaningful customer interactions
- Inspire and educate customers on the best care and products for their pets
- Complete sales transactions and aim to reach set store sales goals
- Maintain a high standard of store presentation
- Promptly and accurately display new stock and replenish inventory
- Keep knowledge up to date on pet care, products and services
- Contribute to a fun and supportive in-store culture
- Promote a strong safety mindset and help create a culture of safety within the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in a similar retail environment
- Passion for animals and providing the best customer service
- Demonstrated drive to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers and the team
- Physically fit, with ability to lift products up to 20kgs
- Flexibility and ability to work weekends and public holidays
