About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Accountable for design components of marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and leads that deliver sales and customer retention.
  • Adherence to editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style, and tone.
  • Under the guidance of the Marketing Manager, ensure that activities are prioritized and the Kanban board is current.
  • Design and/or copy writing to produce brand specific content to improve the quality of our client/prospect facing tools and collateral.
  • Organize, strategize, re-purpose, and continuously improve our content and collateral.
  • Via design efforts, ensure that the recipient feels that "those people are smart" and "those people have their act together."
  • Propose new content and collateral.
  • Perform general maintenance of the website; specifically, add and remove content.
  • Perform general video editing for repurposing in social media and other outlets.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree or Certification in Design or other related field preferred but not required.
  • 3 years experience in design, marketing, communications, or content marketing.
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it.
  • Published content (please provide a portfolio link or work samples).
  • 3 years experience in creating or updating content for magazine / trade publication appropriate pieces.
  • 1 year project management experience to demonstrate an understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment with a variety of deliverables and deadlines.
