About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Accountable for design components of marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and leads that deliver sales and customer retention.
- Adherence to editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style, and tone.
- Under the guidance of the Marketing Manager, ensure that activities are prioritized and the Kanban board is current.
- Design and/or copy writing to produce brand specific content to improve the quality of our client/prospect facing tools and collateral.
- Organize, strategize, re-purpose, and continuously improve our content and collateral.
- Via design efforts, ensure that the recipient feels that "those people are smart" and "those people have their act together."
- Propose new content and collateral.
- Perform general maintenance of the website; specifically, add and remove content.
- Perform general video editing for repurposing in social media and other outlets.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or Certification in Design or other related field preferred but not required.
- 3 years experience in design, marketing, communications, or content marketing.
- Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it.
- Published content (please provide a portfolio link or work samples).
- 3 years experience in creating or updating content for magazine / trade publication appropriate pieces.
- 1 year project management experience to demonstrate an understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment with a variety of deliverables and deadlines.
