About the role

  • Develop and design modern Android apps using Android Studio (Java)
  • Assist with the migration to Kotlin and further development of the codebase
  • Work with external data sources and APIs
  • Create unit and Android tests for quality assurance
  • Perform tests for performance, usability, and reliability
  • Support continuous improvement of applications and processes

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational training in computer science or equivalent proven experience
  • Experience in Android development — multiple years welcome, but your passion for programming is most important to us
  • Knowledge of Kotlin or a willingness to learn it
  • Enthusiasm for innovative ideas in app development
  • Passion for clean, well-structured code
  • Fluent German language skills (B2 level); we offer courses to reach C1 level
  • Preference given to candidates who live nearby or prefer a short commute
