About the role
- Develop and design modern Android apps using Android Studio (Java)
- Assist with the migration to Kotlin and further development of the codebase
- Work with external data sources and APIs
- Create unit and Android tests for quality assurance
- Perform tests for performance, usability, and reliability
- Support continuous improvement of applications and processes
Requirements
- Degree or vocational training in computer science or equivalent proven experience
- Experience in Android development — multiple years welcome, but your passion for programming is most important to us
- Knowledge of Kotlin or a willingness to learn it
- Enthusiasm for innovative ideas in app development
- Passion for clean, well-structured code
- Fluent German language skills (B2 level); we offer courses to reach C1 level
- Preference given to candidates who live nearby or prefer a short commute
