About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • As Financial Controller at Pesca, you play a key role in managing, analyzing and steering the organization’s financial operations.
  • Through your expertise, you contribute to the quality of financial information, the rigor of budgetary monitoring, and to informing strategic decisions in a context of growth and multidisciplinary projects.
  • Manage the full accounting and financial cycle.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the administrative team.
  • Monitor and analyze work in progress, ensuring proper recognition of revenue and project costs.
  • Prepare, analyze and present monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Update and analyze financial ratios and management dashboards.
  • Work closely with the Head of Administration to continuously improve administrative processes.
  • Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts and perform necessary follow-ups.
  • Participate in the billing process in collaboration with directors and project managers.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax and regulatory standards.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting and financial systems.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) – considered a strong asset.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a consulting/services environment involving project cost management and monitoring.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting standards, payroll and work-in-progress tracking.
  • Good knowledge of accounting software.
