About the role

  • Manage the quality and compliance function for our Business Advisors
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert for interpreting and operationalising tax compliance obligations
  • Support the implementation of regulatory updates relating to Tax Agent and CA ANZ professional obligations
  • Develop, maintain and deliver policies, procedures, and training to support compliance
  • Own core first line risk and compliance activities
  • Identify, map and assess Fordham’s policies, processes and controls against legislative and professional association requirements
  • Support client facing professionals with broader risk and compliance activities
  • Embed new regulatory obligations into existing workflows

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years accounting or auditing experience
  • Experience in a similar role within an accounting firm
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Commerce
  • Hold CA ANZ or CPA membership
  • Strong understanding of tax and quality compliance obligations and regulatory frameworks
  • Proven ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical, business aligned actions and controls
  • Well-developed communication and relationship building skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
