About the role

  • Design and implement end-to-end automated tests for new features
  • Maintain, expand, and improve the existing automated test suite across the product
  • Debug and investigate issues across systems to identify root cause and prevent regressions
  • Review test code and approaches from peers and provide constructive feedback
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to identify risks and gaps early
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and stakeholders from planning through delivery
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities across initiatives
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
  • Mentor other team members and contribute to improving QA practices and team processes.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or Software Engineer
  • Strong programming skills and comfort working in code on a daily basis
  • Significant experience designing and maintaining automated test suites, with automation as the primary focus
  • Hands-on experience writing automated tests using TypeScript
  • 3+ years of experience working with Java in a testing or development context
  • Experience working in gaming or similarly complex, real-time, or product-driven environments
  • Comfortable working independently and communicating clearly about progress, risks, and priorities
  • Upper-intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
