About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the Project/Program Manager or senior Program Control Analysts with organizing, implementing, and maintaining a scheduling management system supporting the project plan
  • Establish tasks and subtasks to ensure contract requirements are realized
  • Establish project timelines and maintain a task-status database
  • Receive schedule updates and input from project leadership and enter new information into the database
  • Provide scheduled reports for contract coordination and reporting
  • Communicate with supervisors and project staff to schedule work and coordinate employee assignments
  • Schedule case assignments to the investigative field force in a specific geographical area
  • Ensure duty stations are staffed to meet workload needs
  • Identify and coordinate temporary duty assignments and itinerary movements for the region
  • Assist the logistics manager with analysis of production, staffing, and workload contract requirements
  • Communicate and coordinate with field operations staff on regional workload needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Active federal security clearance with an SSBI
  • 3+ years of general work experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience on the NBIB background investigations contract
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with a variety of individuals
  • Ability to speak for extended periods and hear sufficiently for telephone communication
  • Visual ability including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment for computer work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with limited supervision
  • Excellent organizational, scheduling, and prioritization skills
  • High level of confidentiality, ethics, and integrity
  • Proficient writing and communication skills
  • Intermediate typing and computer skills; 40+ WPM recommended
  • Relocation is not available
  • Experience assigning work and/or management in the background investigation industry preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
