About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and maintain frontend applications using Angular, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks
Lead development of custom web applications with polished, performant user interfaces
Architect and implement scalable frontend solutions, including component libraries, state management, and responsive design patterns
Support integration of AI-driven interfaces and advanced analytics dashboards
Collaborate with backend teams on API contracts and integration points
Perform occasional hands-on Java or NodeJS backend work as mission needs arise
Solve cross-browser compatibility, frontend performance, and multi-environment deployment challenges

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of software engineering experience, or 12+ years without a degree
Strong frontend development expertise using JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, and modern web frameworks
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and frontend build tooling such as NPM
Hands-on experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs
Working knowledge of Java or Python
Experience with JIRA, Jenkins, and Git
Familiarity with cloud services and AI/ML technologies
Understanding of cybersecurity concepts for web application development
U.S. citizenship required
Active Top Secret security clearance required
Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS background investigation
Preferred: advanced Angular and/or React patterns, Kubernetes, CI/CD configuration, Cypress/Jest/Playwright, and SAFe Agile experience
