About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a member of an Agile team providing engineering support and maintenance for services and processes migrating data and algorithms to AWS cloud environments and supporting cloud databases
- Design, code, test, and implement AWS cloud-based SQL solutions
- Gather requirements and estimate tasks with the customer and Peraton team
- Perform routine data checks, code development, and quality checks
- Support database planning, design, and implementation
- Support systems analysis, design, and implementation
- Support code reviews and cloud deployments
- Provide regular progress updates within the Agile framework and through weekly status reporting
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7 years of experience with an associate degree; 5 years with a bachelor’s degree; 3 years with a master’s degree; or high school diploma/equivalent and 9 years of experience
- Familiarity with AWS cloud databases using SQL Server
- Experience processing XML, CSV, and other delimited data files
- Knowledge and experience providing engineering support and maintenance as an Agile team member
- Must be a US citizen
- Must be able to obtain CFTC clearance and cannot start before being cleared
- Active Public Trust or other active clearance preferred
- AWS developer experience preferred
- ETL processing experience preferred
- Experience in an Agile software development environment preferred
- Master’s degree in business, finance, computer science, statistics, or related field and 2 years of experience preferred
