About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary deputy to the Program Manager, providing daily leadership and oversight for program execution
  • Lead integration and synchronization of cross-functional activities supporting requirements development, architecture modeling, system design, implementation, integration, test, verification/validation, and operational readiness
  • Oversee execution of program cost, schedule, technical performance, and risk management processes
  • Manage development, configuration control, and lifecycle maintenance of digital engineering artifacts, MBSE models, system architectures
  • Coordinate technical reviews, program management reviews, IPT meetings, architecture and design reviews
  • Direct Agile, DevSecOps, and digital engineering practices across software and systems engineering teams
  • Identify and mitigate programmatic, technical, integration, cybersecurity, and schedule risks
  • Support strategic planning, workforce planning, subcontractor oversight, and internal growth initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of 12+ years of experience
  • minimum of Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI
  • experience managing or leading large-scale government acquisition of ground systems, engineering, or digital transformation programs
  • establishing and maintaining rigorous configuration control of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in MS Project
  • demonstrated ability to manage multi-discipline subcontractor teams
  • proven experience bridging Agile software execution with formal Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • experience administering complex baseline maintenance
  • ability to evaluate and cross-reference financial metrics, schedule driving paths, and Earned Value techniques
  • knowledge of systems engineering, MBSE, digital engineering, or software engineering processes
  • experience preparing and leading program reviews, contract negotiations, technical reviews, and milestone readiness activities
  • experience with Agile or DevSecOps software development environments
  • ability to review and manage technical artifacts
  • experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating complex programmatic or technical risks
