About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary deputy to the Program Manager, providing daily leadership and oversight for program execution
Lead integration and synchronization of cross-functional activities supporting requirements development, architecture modeling, system design, implementation, integration, test, verification/validation, and operational readiness
Oversee execution of program cost, schedule, technical performance, and risk management processes
Manage development, configuration control, and lifecycle maintenance of digital engineering artifacts, MBSE models, system architectures
Coordinate technical reviews, program management reviews, IPT meetings, architecture and design reviews
Direct Agile, DevSecOps, and digital engineering practices across software and systems engineering teams
Identify and mitigate programmatic, technical, integration, cybersecurity, and schedule risks
Support strategic planning, workforce planning, subcontractor oversight, and internal growth initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

A minimum of 12+ years of experience
minimum of Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI
experience managing or leading large-scale government acquisition of ground systems, engineering, or digital transformation programs
establishing and maintaining rigorous configuration control of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in MS Project
demonstrated ability to manage multi-discipline subcontractor teams
proven experience bridging Agile software execution with formal Earned Value Management (EVM)
experience administering complex baseline maintenance
ability to evaluate and cross-reference financial metrics, schedule driving paths, and Earned Value techniques
knowledge of systems engineering, MBSE, digital engineering, or software engineering processes
experience preparing and leading program reviews, contract negotiations, technical reviews, and milestone readiness activities
experience with Agile or DevSecOps software development environments
ability to review and manage technical artifacts
experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating complex programmatic or technical risks
