About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Place, track and manage customer orders for designated accounts
- Organise, track and satisfy in-season order requests
- Convert customer orders when stock is available for delivery
- Communicate order progress to internal and external stakeholders
- Process cancellations, credits, debits, returns of non-faulty goods, VAS and DC requirements
- Prepare export documentation and compliance for global logistics where required
- Manage order administration and business processes related to goods or services
- Provide regular updates on sales, order book information, returns, debits, credits and order-processing activity
- Make and communicate changes to customer order books according to business and customer requirements
- Identify potential problems and solutions to manage customer OTIF
- Work cross-functionally with Asia merchandising and shipping teams on Direct Delivery Export to Market, if required
- Produce regular data analysis on order books and supply chain using internal and external sources
- Interrogate and source information from SAP
- Work with Pentland Distribution, Pentland Shipping Customer Operations teams and specific channel customers
- Understand and support delivery of brand priorities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong Excel capability
- Attention to detail
- Reporting and analytical skills
- Experience in a customer-focused role
- Experience with administrative duties for cancellations, credits, debits, invoicing and orders
- Stock management and orderbook management skills
- Experience interpreting large amounts of data and confidence in reporting procedures
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills across all levels of the business
- Previous Customer Service/Key Account Sales Support experience and/or experience in a sales environment
- Knowledge of EDI order processing is preferable
- Knowledge and management of online retailer/distribution is desirable
